BECOME A SKI INSTRUCTOR

Dedicated to all those who aim at the profession of Ski Instructor in Italy. We offer a permanent centre for the preparation of Aspiring Ski Instructors, under the guidance of Luca Bertagnolli.

The centre offers a programme of introductory activities to best prepare each student for the selections for Ski Instructors, both for the Veneto region and for other regions. Specifically, the programme includes teaching the various skiing techniques from level 1 to 7, with related exercises, giant slalom tests both free and timed, and final assessment of individual aspiring instructors.

In addition, every day (except Monday and Wednesday) Luciano Maggi, a 3rd-level coach and teacher of motor sciences, will carry out specific training sessions to tackle the EUROTEST.

Your personal project to ski, compete and go beyond your goals.

Not just a lesson, but a path of excellence built around you. LB Ski Performance 365 is the advanced training and performance development programme created and personally led by Luca Bertagnolli — National Alpine Ski Instructor, Ski Instructor since 1995, Federal Coach and Level IV European Technician.

The programme has a single goal: to understand your own way of skiing in depth, in order to reach the very best of your individual ability.

Total flexibility: you choose how long it lasts

It is the skier who chooses the level of support and the commitment desired. The path follows no rigid scheme and can be structured over:

  • a single day of intensive work or assessment;

  • a few weeks in view of a specific goal;

  • a season or the whole year (365 days), for continuous and steady growth.

    Who it is for

    Every skier has unique characteristics, motivations and needs. The programme is open to anyone who genuinely wants to raise their level:

    • Aspiring Ski Instructors — targeted preparation for the selections and the professional courses.

    • Eurotest Candidates — technical modules and strategies for passing the timed tests.

    • Racers (juniors, masters and adults) — performance refinement, integration with the Ski Club work and race preparation.

    • Experienced and passionate skiers — for those who want to push past their limits, master every arc of the turn and express 100% of their potential on the slopes.

      The method: six pillars for high performance

      The work follows the methodology of professionals, structured around six pillars coordinated personally by Luca Bertagnolli.

      1. Individual analysis and Performance Passport — every path starts from a complete analysis: technical level, sporting history, equipment and goals. All data and progress are collected in the Performance Passport, the personal record used to monitor how the path develops.

      2. Video Performance Lab — video footage is a fundamental learning tool: slope-side analysis and dedicated sessions to align the perception of the body with the actual movement.

      3. Mental preparation and race management — specific work on concentration, managing performance anxiety, pre-race routines and processing mistakes, so you can show in competition what you can do in training.

      4. Material Performance Check — assessment and optimisation of the equipment: ski choice, boot set-up, footbeds and edge preparation tailored to your own skiing.

      5. Athletic and nutritional preparation — where needed, coordination with qualified professionals for strength, mobility, injury prevention and sports nutrition.

      6. Continuity 365 days a year — training does not stop at the end of winter: glacier sessions, indoor centres and guided athletic preparation, so you never start from scratch in the following season.
